Winter night exploring ✨
We’re gearing up for Kickstarter launch!!
Here’s a preview of one of our rewards: a beautiful postcard that will be part of a set. Illustrated and animated by Sarah Webb (@erysium).
Be on the lookout! 🔜 🔜 🔜 👀
I’m so excited to be part of this project with such great, hardworking people running it, & included – can’t wait for you guys to see it!
Crops from last weeks Kochab pages~
Drawing this chapter felt a lot quicker & more confident than the last - although I’m still trying to find a comfortable style for balancing simple clarity, versus always wanting to paint/render everything :’) But, it’s a challenge I’m excited about right now!!
Hi guys! I’m so happy to finally start posting Chapter 2!! I feel very proud of it compared to chapter 1, and I hope you enjoy reading :-)
This chapter is 20 pages, and updates will be every Tuesday & Friday, again!
And also, there’s a couple pics of my commencement show at MICA’s Art Walk, and all my work from this last year of college !!!
I’ve been really worried about graduating and facing the future - but proud of this last year of trying, anyway 💕
Also, my proof copy for the printing of chapter 1 came in earlier this week!! I was really surprised to feel so strongly about holding it in my hands.. at the same time, made me notice everything I need to do better at - but I’m really, really excited to keep going and improving :’)
It’s done!!! Still doing a lil redrawing after my final critique, but otherwise chapter one of my comic is finished!
Page 0 is already up at the site (kochab-comic.tumblr.com), and I’ll be posting the first 5 pages on January 6th - and then have Tues/Friday updates for the next couple months. :)
A couple more explorers from last semester! Here’s the process along with the finals for an item design project.
These guys are the shaman and trainee-shaman from a desert village, traveling through a canyon area. They’re trying to return a cursed dragon skull trapped inside the jar, which the skull is slowly turning sentient !!
50 trees I painted one weekend, and a few tiny animations I made yesterday!
